​If you were audited tomorrow, how would you do?

The OIG and Medicare announced that audits were increased by 33% recovery Audit Contractors are paid 24% commission to search through your records and recover funds for Medicare. What will you do when they knock on your door?  Some may know compliance, but they know little about the chiropractic office. Some know chiropractic procedures, but really don't know about compliance. Dr. Charles Copeland is a Certified Insurance Consultant and a Certified Medical Compliance Specialist (MCS-P). Dr. Copeland has also taught several continuing education courses on peer review and Medicare compliance. He continues to practice in Louisville, KY. He currently serves on the Kentucky Chiropractic Peer Review; Workers Compensation Peer Review committees, while also continuing to do peer review; and insurance consulting.
