Dr. Charles Copeland is an Indiana native. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology and Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1994 from Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. Following graduation, Dr. Copeland served as intern for Dr. Sally Bobo in Decatur, Georgia for one year. In January 1997 Dr. Copeland bought North Shively Chiropractic and built a successful practice over the next eight years. Desiring to work closer to his residence, Dr. Copeland established Highland Chiropractic in late 2004 in one of Louisville's most vibrant neighborhoods. The new practice has thrived from its inception. Dr. Copeland became a certified Insurance Consultant and Peer Reviewer in fall 2008. In March 2009 he received his Medical Compliance Specialist - Physician (MCS-P) certification. He was recognized by the Kentucky Chiropractic Society as both its Doctor of the Year and President's Award recipient in October 2010. During the past few years, Dr. Copeland has taught numerous compliance classes around the state and region and continues to be recognized for his volunteer and community service efforts.
